Liverev Sustainable Health Initiative, an SCD-focused nongovernmental organization, is inviting passionate, skilled and committed individuals to join the Humans of Liverev as volunteers.
Are you passionate about sickle cell advocacy, public health, community development, research, communications, programme coordination, or health systems strengthening?
We are looking for volunteers who can contribute their knowledge, skills, experience and ideas to strengthen Liverev's work and contribute to sustainable impact across the sickle cell ecosystem.
Volunteer PositionsPrograms & Community Outreach Associate
Support the planning and delivery of community health programmes, outreach activities and SCD awareness initiatives.
Adolescent Transition Program Design Associate
Support needs assessment, programme design and development of practical interventions for adolescents transitioning to adult SCD care.
Transition Webinar — Program Coordinator Associate
Coordinate Liverev's monthly Transition Webinar, including planning, speakers, timelines, logistics and follow-up.
Transition Webinar — MEAL Associate
Track participation, collect feedback, monitor indicators and generate learning to improve the monthly webinar programme.
Transition Webinar — Communications & Social Media Associate
Develop and coordinate content, publicity and social media communication before, during and after the monthly webinar.
Community Engagement & Community Manager Associate
Build and manage Liverev communities through engagement, moderation, onboarding, communication and member support.
Research, Data & M&E Associate
Support research activities, data collection, data quality, analysis, monitoring and evidence generation.
Strategic Partnerships & Resource Mobilization Associate
Identify partnership opportunities, support stakeholder engagement, proposal development and resource mobilisation.
Operations & Volunteer Coordination Associate
Support volunteer management, task coordination, scheduling, documentation and smooth programme operations.
Legal, Governance & Compliance Associate
Support legal research, governance processes, compliance, agreements, risk management and organisational documentation.
Health & Technical Advisory Associate
Provide evidence-based technical input, review health content and support the quality and accuracy of SCD-related programmes.
Finance Associate
Support budgeting, financial documentation, expenditure tracking, reconciliation and basic financial reporting.
Innovation & Business Development Associate
Explore innovative solutions, sustainable models, new opportunities and ideas that can strengthen Liverev's impact and growth.
Important Information· These are pure volunteer positions and are currently unpaid.
· Applicants should select ONE position that best matches their skills, experience and interests.
