Our Campaigns
Driving awareness, mobilizing resources, and creating lasting change for SCD warriors.
Genetic Screening Campaign
Our flagship campaign is focused on helping families and young people know their genotype early, make informed health decisions, and reduce preventable SCD complications through timely testing and counseling.

Regular Community Genetic and Genotype Screening Drives
We organize free and subsidized outreach screening drives in schools, worship centers, community halls, and primary healthcare locations, especially where access to reliable testing is limited.
Many people rely on assumptions or outdated records about their genotype. Our campaign uses quality-assured laboratory methods and pre-test guidance to improve accuracy, then provides post-test counseling so each participant understands the health and family-planning implications of their result.
Beyond one-off testing, we build awareness through education sessions for adolescents, parents, faith leaders, and teachers. This helps reduce stigma, correct misinformation, and encourage early care-seeking behavior for those living with SCD.
Over 30% of participants in our outreach drives discover that their previously assumed genotype does not match their confirmed laboratory result, underscoring why accurate screening saves lives and protects future families.
- Early detection and accurate genotype identification.
- On-site counseling for informed personal and family decisions.
- Referral support for follow-up care and specialist services.
- Community education to reduce stigma and promote prevention.
